Detectives from the Metropolitan Police Department’s Homicide Branch are investigating the fatal shooting which occurred at 14th and Clifton Streets, NW.

On Friday, October 30, 2010, at approximately 1:56 am, units from the Third District responded to the area of 14th and Clifton Streets, NW for the report of a shooting. Upon their arrival, they discovered a male victim suffering from gunshot wounds. DC Fire and Emergency Medical Services responded to the scene and transported the victim to an area hospital where he was pronounced dead.

The decedent has been identified as 25-year old Rodney Bean of Northwest, DC.

The Metropolitan Police Department currently offers a reward of up to $25,000 to anyone that provides information which leads to the arrest and conviction of the person or persons wanted for any homicide committed in the District of Columbia.
