Houston police are investigating the fatal shooting of a man found at 3400 Buttercup about 12:25 a.m. today (September 12).
The identity of the male victim is pending notification to family members by the Harris County Institute of Forensic Sciences.
HPD Homicide Division Officers D. Stark and K. Winningham reported:
HPD officers responded to a report of a person down in the 3400 block of Buttercup and found the victim lying on the sidewalk with gunshot wounds. A vehicle taken in an armed robbery earlier in the day was found near the victim. At this time, there is no known suspect(s).
