The victim, David Davila, 27, of Houston, suffered a gunshot wound and was pronounced dead at the scene.

HPD Homicide Division Sergeant B. E. Roberts and Senior Police Officer K.P. Carr reported:

Mr. Davila was inside Joe’s Texas Club, an after hours club, when he and two men began arguing. The argument escalated into a physical altercation, which then moved to the sidewalk outside. During the fight, one of the men produced a pistol and fired one time, fatally striking Davila.

The two suspects, described only as Hispanic males, approximately 27 to 28 years old, then fled the scene.

  1. Can you write the follow-up story on the Davcomment_ID Davila murder suspect. These stories are informative and the public should know whome our neighbors are.I am shocked to find that the murder suspect fled and still had a bond. Were is the justice in this city? Who in the face of Gods green earth would give this murder suspect a bond! This story is an example of the injustice our city faces in the future if we do not underline the ‘case and cause and all involved in puting these criminals back on our city streets!I would love to hear the outcome of this story!
