Charges are pending against a suspect arrested in the fatal stabbing of a man found at 2121 Ella Boulevard #82 about 10:10 p.m. on Thursday (Feb. 17).

The suspect, Jamie Anne Skelton (w/f, DOB: 8-26-70), is facing a murder charge in the death of a 28-year-old male whose name is being withheld pending verification by the Harris County Institute of Forensic Sciences. The male suffered at least one puncture wound to the chest.

HPD Homicide Division Senior Police Officers R.P. Martinez and T.S. Tyler reported:

Skelton contacted a friend and stated that her male lover had been stabbed and was dead inside her apartment at 2121 Ella for more than 24 hours. The friend contacted the Harris County Sheriff’s Office, which in turn contacted HPD officers since the address of the apartment is in the city limits.

Deputies and officers arrived at the apartment and detained Skelton after finding the male victim deceased on the kitchen floor. Skelton provided a statement to investigators regarding the incident and was booked into jail.

Investigators are awaiting autopsy results to help determine the male’s approximate time and manner of death.

    • Karin. We all hated what happened. That’s my mother. My mother was scared of him. He would show up at weird times out the day at her place. My mother is a wonderful woman that just made a bad decision. Mental health and drugs have everything to do with this.
