Philippines released a warning on Monday that if China does not back out from the China Sea standoff, Philippine will have no choice but to take the matter to international bodies and also called on to the Asian and other Western countries to side with them on the matter as it is a potential threat to the entire region.

China is claiming rights over the area of Scarborough Shoal where the standoff initially kicked in about 14 days ago when Philippines moved their warship vessel to capture Chinese fishermen entering the boundaries of their country. So soon as Philippine tried to move to catch the invaders, two surveillance ships of China blocked their way and did not let Philippine take the alleged fishermen into custody. Philippines replaced the warship vessel with another of their coastal ships the next day when they realized China had no intentions to back off.

With 14 days past the actual incident and both countries engaging in a rather hostile manner after talking about peace, Philippines has now decided to take the matter to the International court to claim their right over the disputed region of Scarborough Shoal. The Chinese surveillance ships have asked the coastal vessel of Philippine to leave the territory claiming it to be theirs and made the matters worse after flying a helicopter over the single costal guard ship very low to threaten them out. However, the Philippines coastal ship has not moved an inch and they claim that the territory belongs to them.
