The Malaysian Airlines have released the flight manifest this Saturday which gives the complete list of 298 passengers who lost their lives in the tragic crash that took place this Thursday after the flight took off for its destination from Amsterdam to Kuala Lumpur. All 298 people on board died in the crash.

According to the manifest released, the people on-board the flight included 193 from the Netherlands, 43 from Malaysia which includes 15 members of the staff, 27 from Australia, 12 from Indonesia, 10 from the U.K., four from Belgium, four from Germany, three from the Philippines and one from New Zealand. On one hand as the families grieve for their lost ones, a family was saved from the tragic crash as they tried to get on-board. The British family of three was not allowed to get on board due to the lack of seats. The crash took place near the town of Shaktarsk, in the rebel-held east Ukraine. The pro-Russian rebels fighting the central Kiev authorities claimed on the 17th of July that the Malaysian airline that crashed in Ukraine had been shot down by a Ukrainian jet.

The United States believes that the Malaysian plane was taken down by a missile fired by the pro-Russian separatists. There’s also a possibility of assistance from Russia. Ukraine has accused Russia of assisting rebels to destroy the evidence at the crash site whereas the Malaysian officials have also expressed concern. The black box of the plane and a few dead bodies are missing from the site of crash.
