This Wednesday brought big news for students who gave their GCE O-Level exams. The results of the 2014 O-Level examinations will be released next Monday that is the 12th of January. The students will be able to collect their results from their respective schools at about 2pm that day.
The private candidates will be informed about their results by post or they can access the Singapore Examinations and Assessment Board website. The students who receive their result can then apply to Junior Colleges, Polytechnics, the Millennia Institute and the Institute of Technical Education using the Joint Admissions Exercise (JAE). The Today Online News portal further informed that JAE’s online registration will open on the day of release at 3pm and will end on the 16th of January, Friday, at 4pm. Results of the school posting is scheduled to be released on the 29th of January. Students can know the results thru SMS or JAE website.
The news portal further informed that those who opt for the Joint Polytechnic Special Admissions Exercise (JPSAE) will be considered based on a broader measure of merit, through achievements beyond academic performance, will get their posting results on Jan 30.
