26-year-old, Emily Wotherspoon walked out of The Manning Hospital in NSW around 12 30 pm on Thursday, just a day after delivery. The infant is reported to need extra medical attention by the doctors.

Hospital authorities informed the police department a little while after the incident took place and the hospital staff realized that the baby was missing along with the mother. Police team arrived the hospital for initial investigation and issued a general notice for everyone to inform the police as soon as anyone sees or gets any news about the new born and the mother.

Doctors have informed the police that the infant will require severe medical help within the next 48 hours due to his critical condition. Moreover, they also gave police the description of the mother, who is announced to be about 170 cm tall, with light brown complexion, and long black hair.

The mother was last seen in black tights, grey singlet tops, and football shorts. Initial investigations continue to take place whereas speaking to the media the police authorities have asked everyone to stay alert and report any such woman with an infant to them at the earliest as it is of utmost importance that the new-born gets medical help.
