With an addition of 5 more drive-by shootings taking place in Sydney on Tuesday, the commissioner of police of New South Wales Andrew Scipione has expressed fears of terror taking over the residents.

Commenting on the increasing terror incidents by the bikie and other rival gangs, Scipione said that Sydney was moving fast towards the United States culture of guns where in specific areas shootings at night is a ritual. He said that the shootings between these mafia gangs are mostly over organized crime, turf, and drugs. He said, “Well those days appear to have gone. Perhaps we’re moving down the American path where these sorts of disputes are resolved on the end of a handgun.”

Elaborating on the recent incidents, he said that the shootings taking place nowadays are believed to be between the Nomads Bikie gangs and Hells Angles. He said that he had called in additional workforce from the surrounding areas to give a helping hand and improve the worsening law and order situation. The recently formed Strike Force Kennara is taking active part in the activities of NSW police department.

Speaking at the last night’s terror incident, he said, “There were not 100 police out there last night, but we did have resources where we thought they were best placed. The public may not have been able to see them.”
