A fugitive from the United States of America, wanted for First Degree Robbery with a Deadly Weapon, has been arrested by members of the Peel Regional Police Street Crime Gang Unit.

On Tuesday, March 22, 2011, Street Crime Gang Unit officers located and arrested the suspect in the area of Bloor Street and Tomken Road in Mississauga.

Daniel SZLESZYNSKI, a 21 year-old male, was convicted in the state of Connecticut for committing an armed robbery with a firearm. He fled to Canada prior to sentencing, to evade a prison term.
