Registered Practical Nurse Leonid Kozlov charged with sexual assault at Castleview Nursing Home, Toronto

The Toronto Police Service would like to make the public aware of an arrest in a sexual assault investigation at the Castleview Nursing Home, at 351 Christie Street .

It is alleged that:

– on Monday, April 4, 2011, at approximately 3 a.m., a 70-year-old female resident was sexually assaulted by the accused,

– the accused has been an employee at the Castleview Nursing Home, as a Registered Practical Nurse, for the past five years.

Leonid Kozlov, 45, of Toronto, has been charged with Sexual Assault.

He appeared in court at 1000 Finch Avenue West on Monday April 4, 2011.

Police believe there may be other victims.

  1. As per the College of Nurses of Ontario website (under “find a nurse”), Leoncomment_ID Kozlov is NOT a Nurse Practitioner, but a Registered Practical Nurse. The difference is that he was educated with 2 years of College, rather than post-university graduate training (usually at the Masters level) to be an NP. As a community NP, this affects how our clients the public view us and is an important error to be corrected.
