Somlack Litthimane charged with drug trafficking in Truro, Nova Scotia

Members of the Royal Canadian Mounted Police (RCMP) Federal Drug Unit have charged an Ontario man with numerous drug related offences.

On April 4th, 2011 at approximately 5:30 p.m., the RCMP Northeast Nova Drug Section arrested an Ontario man at the Acadian Bus Station in Truro. Officers seized approximately six pounds of marihuana, 2500 tablets of ecstasy and 650 grams of cocaine.

Somlack Litthimane (age 20) of Hamilton, Ontario is charged with three counts of possession of controlled substances for the purpose of trafficking and four counts of breaching court orders stemming from unrelated drug charges in Western Canada. Litthimane has been remanded into custody and will appear in Truro Provincial Court this afternoon.
