District 3 Kennebecassis RCMP have charged a man in connection with the death of a cyclist, resulting from a collision between a transport truck and a group of cyclists on Route 7, near Petersville Hill, on September 16, 2010.

28-year-old Jason Donald Dickison, of Meductic, N.B., has been charged with driving without due care and attention and excess hours of service, both charges under the Motor Vehicle Act. Police allege Dickison was driving more than the 13 hours allowed by law.

23-year-old Andrew Wolf, of Brooklyn, N.Y., died at the scene.

Jason Dickison is scheduled to appear in Hampton Provincial Court on April 11, 2011.
