On April 11, 2011, at approximately 12:30 a.m., members of the Codiac Regional RCMP responded to a stabbing incident at a residence on Victory Street in Moncton.

A 21-year-old man from Moncton was taken to hospital with non-life threatening injuries. He was treated and later released.

The suspect, who is known to police, fled the scene before officers arrived.

Police say the suspect and the victim were known to each other and that this is believe to be an isolated incident. The investigation is ongoing.
