On Friday, April 8th, 2011, at approximately 6:30 AM, in the area of Clarke Road and Dundas Street in London, a 21 year old female was sexually assaulted. The male is a 28 year old Mixed Martial Arts (MMA) fighter from Las Vegas who was in London training for an upcoming fight. The male has been arrested and charged, with a court appearance expected today.
Police have charged Kasheem Peterson of Las Vegas Nevada with:
– Committing a sexual assault contrary to section 271 (1) of the Criminal Code of Canada.
– Forcible confinement contrary to section 279 (2) of the Criminal Code of Canada.
– With the intent to enable or assist himself to commit a sexual assault, choke another person contrary to section 246(a) of the Criminal Code of Canada.

Wow – I’m shocked at your article. A person is innocent until proven guilty. Your article says “a 21 year old female WAS sexually assaulted”…we don’t really know that yet, do we? She claims she was, but so have other women who wanted something from an athlete.

This is really poor blogging by some wannabe journalist. You should have sacomment_ID “a woman CLAIMED to be sexually assaulted” and “A 28 year old Mixed Martial Arts (MMA) fighter from Las Vegas has been charged with the crime.”
The way you’ve written it, you’re police, judge, jury and soon to be executioner! Shame on you.
