A house fire that claimed the life of one man in Saint-Norbert, N.B. over the weekend is not considered suspicious.

District 5 RCMP along with the Fire Marshall have been investigating the fire which took place on April 10, 2011, at around 2 a.m. The cause is believed to have been accidental but the investigation is continuing.

The body of a man believed to be in his fifties was recovered from the home. A positive identification has not yet been made. Dental records will likely need to be used which could take some time.
