Damian Mills charged for helping Yul Styles-Lyon escape

Investigators from the 22 Division Criminal Investigation Bureau have charged a man with assisting a fellow prisoner to escape lawful custody.

Investigators allege that on Friday, April 8, 2011, Yul STYLES-LYONS was at the A. Grenville and William Davis Courthouse, where he assumed the name of a fellow prisoner and was subsequently released.

Investigators have charged Damian MILLS, a 28 year-old Brampton resident, with one count of Assist in Escape in relation to this incident. Mr. MILLS will be appearing before the Ontario Court of Justice in Brampton on May 25, 2011.

Mr. Yul STYLES-LYONS is described as black, 6’ tall, weighing 160 lbs, with brown eyes and short black afro-style hair. He was last seen wearing black jeans, a red shirt and a brown leather jacket.

A Canada wide warrant for the arrest of Yul STYLES-LYONS has been issued. Investigators are urging Mr. STYLES-LYONS to contact a lawyer and make arrangements to turn himself in.
