Eleven arrested in drug sweep in London

On Tuesday, April 19, 2011, at 9:58 PM members of the London Police Guns and Drugs Section executed a search warrant at an address on Horton Street. Police arrested 8 adult males, 2 adult females and 1 young offender female. Eight of these people arrested have now been charged with various drug offences.

Police seized: 12 grams marihuana ($120), 16.7 grams crack cocaine ($1670), 14.8 grams powder cocaine ($1120).

Charged are:

Giovani Crooks-Grant, a 20-year-old male from London with:
 Two counts of possess a substance included in Schedule I, for the purpose of trafficking, contrary to Section 5(3)(a) of the Controlled Drugs and Substances Act.

Sidney Dolson, a 32-year-old male from London with:
 Possess a substance included in Schedule I, contrary to Section 4(3) of the Controlled Drugs and Substances Act.

Adrian Simon, a 42-year-old male from London with:
 Possess a substance included in Schedule I, contrary to Section 4(3) of the Controlled Drugs and Substances Act.

Isaac Tycie, a 30-year-old male from London with:
 Possess a substance included in Schedule II, in an amount that did not exceed the amount set out for that substance in Schedule VIII, contrary to Section 4(5) of the Controlled Drugs and Substances Act.

Manzil Toto, a 22-year-old male from London with:
 Possess a substance included in Schedule II, in an amount that did not exceed the amount set out for that substance in Schedule VIII, contrary to Section 4(5) of the Controlled Drugs and Substances Act.
 Fail to comply with recognizance.

Drai Ohara-Salmon an 18-year-old male from London with:
 Two counts of possess a substance included in Schedule I, for the purpose of trafficking, contrary to Section 5(3)(a) of the Controlled Drugs and Substances Act.

Alastair Rasente, a 20-year-old male from London with:
 Two counts of possess a substance included in Schedule I, for the purpose of trafficking, contrary to Section 5(3)(a) of the Controlled Drugs and Substances Act.

A 16-year-old female from London is charged with:
 Did unlawfully possess a substance included in Schedule II, in an amount that did not exceed the amount set out for that substance in Schedule VIII, contrary to Section 4(5) of the Controlled Drugs and Substances Act.
