Two arrested for drug trafficking in London

On Friday, April 22, 2011 at approximately 1:50 PM London Police officers conducted a motor vehicle stop in the area of Cheapside Street and Adelaide Street. There were two people in the truck and upon stopping, the male passenger ran from the vehicle. Police quickly apprehended the male and learned that he was wanted on outstanding warrants. The driver of the vehicle was arrested for driving while disqualified. During the subsequent search police found a quantity of ammunition and drugs which included morphine, oxycodone and methylphenidate, for a total value of approximately $6,355.

Police have charged 41-year-old Patrick Ninham of London with:

 Possession of ammunition while prohibited contrary to section 117.01(3) of the Criminal Code of Canada and disqualified operation of a motor vehicle contrary to section 259 (4) of the criminal Code of Canada.

Police have also charged 25-year-old Aaron Schuyler of London with:

 Two counts of possess a substance included in Schedule I, for the purpose of trafficking contrary to Section 5(3)(a) of the Controlled Drugs and Substances Act.

 Possess a substance included in Schedule III, for the purpose of trafficking contrary to Section 5(3)(b) of the Controlled Drugs and Substances Act.

 Possession of ammunition while prohibited contrary to section 117.01(3) of the Criminal Code of Canada and disqualified operation of a motor vehicle contrary to section 259 (4) of the criminal Code of Canada.
