Two more charged in the murder of Klayton Wynter

Officers from the Homicide Bureau have arrested a suspect in relation to a stabbing that took place in the parking lot of the Bramalea City Centre shopping mall.

On Saturday April 23, 2011, at approximately 5:09 p.m., police attended the Bramalea City Centre parking lot, in response to a complaint of a teenage youth having been stabbed. Upon arrival, officers found the victim suffering from life threatening injuries.

The victim, 15 year-old Toronto resident Klayton Wynter, was taken to a local hospital, where he tragically passed away.

On Tuesday, April 26, 2011, homicide investigators arrested and charged a 15 year-old youth with Second Degree Murder, in relation to this homicide.

Homicide investigators have also arrested and charged the following two individuals in relation to this matter:

· Charged with Accessory After the Fact to Murder is a 14 year-old youth.

· Charged with Accessory After the Fact to Murder is 40 year-old Raquel COOPER a resident of Brampton.

Due to the ages of the youths, their names cannot be released, as per the provisions of the Youth Criminal Justice Act. All three suspects were held for a bail hearing and appeared at the Ontario Court of Justice in Brampton.

This investigation is continuing, however further arrests associated to this incident are not anticipated.
