The Calgary Police Service has charged a woman in connection with a 2010 homicide.

At approximately 3:30 p.m., on Wednesday, March 17, 2010, police were called to the 1600 block of 42 Street S.W., for reports of a suspicious death.

The body of Aref Selman NASSEREDDINE, 64, of Calgary, was located inside the residence.

An autopsy confirmed that NASSEREDDINE died as a result of stab wounds.

Crystal Aldina Patricia CROWCHILD, 26, of Calgary, was arrested yesterday, Thursday, April 28, 2011, and has been charged with second-degree murder.

She has been remanded in custody until her next court appearance scheduled for Friday, May, 13, 2011.
