Investigators with the York Regional Police #1 District Criminal Investigation Bureau are seeking assistance from the public in locating a missing vulnerable man from East Gwillimbury.
Ilija CAVARUSIO, 69, was last seen at approximately 6 p.m., on Wednesday, May 4, 2011, at his residence on Davis Drive, between Warden Avenue and Kennedy Road. Police are concerned for Mr. CAVARUSIO’s well-being as he has no access to money or prescribed medication.
He is described as Male, white
5’6”, 130 lbs., thin build
Brown eyes, short, unkempt brown hair
Wearing a black, nylon, hip-length jacket,
beige pants and black shoes
Short or no facial hair (unlike photo)
Understands some English but does not speak it
