Regina man Kelly Boyd Clark charged with fraud

A 44 year-old Regina male is facing a total of seven fraud-related charges in connection with an alleged misappropriation of almost $80,000 from a provincial sport-governing association.

The investigation began with a complaint received by the Regina Police Service in summer of 2010, alleging a former employee of the association had defrauded the sport-governing body.

The incidents are alleged to have occurred between June, 2007 and July, 2010 with losses totalling approximately 80-thousand dollars. As a result of investigation into this complaint, the Regina Police Service arrested and charged a 44 year-old Regina male on May 16, 2011.

Forty-four year-old Kelly Boyd CLARK, DOB: 1967-04-16 is charged with Fraud over $5,000.00, three charges of Forgery and three charges of Uttering a Forged Document. CLARK will be released on an undertaking to appear in Provincial Court on June 13, 2011.
