The HRP/RCMP Integrated General Investigation Section is investigating a stabbing that took place on June 11, 2011.

At approximately 11:30 p.m., police were called to Dorothea Drive to a report of a stabbing. Upon arrival, officers located a 20-year-old man suffering from a small stab wound to his back. He was taken to hospital and later released. Investigators believe the victim and his friends encountered a group of three men and one woman near Settle Lake in Dartmouth. There was no issue at that time and the victim and his friends left the area. The victim and one of his friends ran into the group a little later and asked if they had seen an item that had gone missing. An argument ensued and when the victim turned to leave he was stabbed in the back.

The group is described as three white men and one white woman in their late teens. The men were between 5’8” and 5’10”. One was wearing a white t-shirt and white shorts, and the other two were wearing dark clothing. The woman is described as 5’6” with blonde hair.
