The Winnipeg Police Service Missing Persons Unit is requesting the public’s assistance in locating 16 year old Caitlin MOUSSEAU. She was last seen on Tuesday, July 5th 2011 at approximately 9:30 p.m. in the West End area of Winnipeg.

The Winnipeg Police Service considers MOUSSEAU to be a child in need of protection as she is at high risk of being exploited or victimized and investigators are concerned for her well-being. MOUSSEAU frequents the Downtown and West End areas of the City. Her main modes of travel are usually on foot or via Transit.

MOUSSEAU is described as: Aboriginal, 5’6” tall, 134 lbs with a medium build. She has medium length brown hair worn in a pony tail and brown eyes. She has a large rose tattoo on her upper right arm and cherries tattooed on her right ankle. She was last seen wearing a purple dress with a flower pattern and flat black shoes. She was carrying a black purse.

UPDATE: Caitlin has been located.
