On Friday, July 29, 2011, at 9:50 p.m., police responded to a call for a shooting at 7 Capri Road.
It is reported that:
– police located a man suffering from an apparent gunshot wound to the body,
– the man was taken to hospital with life-threatening injuries and later died.
The man has been identified as Anthony Smalling, 23, of Toronto.
Police are seeking the public’s assistance locating a white car fleeing the area, westbound on Capri Road, and then southbound on The East Mall, at high speed.
A post-mortem examination is scheduled for Sunday, July 31, 2011.
