Toronto man charged in the death of David Blyth

On Friday, July 29, 2011, at 10:19 a.m., 12 Division officers on patrol found the victim, suffering from apparent trauma to the body, at the rear of Rolo’s Bar and Grill, 1239 Weston Road, in the Weston Road/Denarda Road area.

It is alleged that:

– on Friday, July 29, 2011, at 1 a.m., the victim was assaulted by the accused outside the front door of Rolo’s Bar and Grill,

– the victim was taken to hospital with life-threatening injuries and later died.

The victim has been identified as David Blyth, 30, of Toronto.

On Sunday, July 31, 2011, 12 Division officers arrested Twayne Ruddock, 25, of Toronto. He has been charged with:

1) Second Degree Murder.

He was scheduled to appear in court at Old City Hall on Sunday, July 31, 2011, room 101, at 10 a.m.
