District 3 Royal Canadian Mounted Police are searching for a woman who was reported missing last evening.

56-year-old Linda Walker of Garnett Settlement near Saint John was reported missing to police at 8:30 p.m. on September 11, 2011. It is believed she left her home on her own accord. The RCMP, Simonds Fire Department and York Sunbury Search and Rescue are all taking part in the search. When the fog clears in the area, an aerial search will also be conducted.

Linda Walker is described as medium build, 5 feet, four inches tall, and has blonde hair with brown streaks cut just below the ear. She was last seen wearing a beige sweater with blue on it, black pants and size 8 white and blue sneakers.
