Hamilton police investigate death of two adults on Cannon Street East

At 11.30pm on 2011/11/04 Hamilton Police Service, Fire and EMS responded to a 911 call for assistance at a Cannon Street East address in the City. Upon arrival an adult female victim was found deceased within the residence, the apparent victim of homicide. An adult male was also located within the residence with life threatening injuries. He was transported to HGH and was pronounced deceased shortly after 3 am. The Police are continuing their investigation in to this matter at this time along with the Coroner who has attended the scene. Autopsies are scheduled for later today at HGH. Police will not be releasing further details at this time pending notification of next of kin. Police are not seeking any suspects in the investigation of these two deaths.
