In 2009 Mohamed Jama YUSUF was arrested and charged with second degree murder in relation to the August 2008 death of a 51 year-old Sean Gregory MURPHY.
Following a Superior Court bail review at Ottawa on June 2, 2009 YUSUF was released on a Recognizance with numerous conditions including that he must reside at his mother’s residence in Edmonton.
At a 2010 Preliminary Hearing YUSUF was committed to stand trial in Superior Court on a charge of Second Degree Murder.
On October 11, 2011 YUSUF failed to appear in Superior Court in Ottawa. A warrant has been issued for the arrest of Mohamed Jama YUSUF with a Canada wide return radius.
YUSUF’s current whereabouts are unknown. His last known address was in the City of Edmonton.
