Toronto man Darnell Grant charged with First degree murder

On Sunday, October 2, 2011, at 2:12 a.m., police responded to a call for a shooting in the Crawford Street/Lobb Avenue area.

Darnell St. Clair Wright, 32, of Toronto, also known as Darnell Grant, was wanted for First Degree Murder.

On Thursday, November 10, 2011, at approximately 8:45 p.m., Darnell St. Clair Wright was arrested without incident.

He is charged with:

1) First degree murder

There were also three arrests on Thrusday, November 10, 2011, in the evening, in Toronto.

Brittney Carvery, 21, of no fixed address; Sanderico Beals, 25, of Dartmouth Nova Scotia; and Roslyn Bascom, 27, of Toronto, were each charged with:

1) Accessory after fact to murder

All four people were scheduled to appear in court at Old City Hall, on Friday, November 11, 2011, at 9 a.m., in courtroom 101.
