On Tuesday, November 22, 2011, the Toronto Police Service Sex Crimes Unit executed a search warrant at a home in the Birchmount Road/St. Clair Avenue area.
As a result, Alec Stanley Owen, 85, of Toronto, has been charged with:
1) two counts of Possession of child pornography
He is scheduled to appear in court at 1911 Eglinton Avenue East on Thursday November 24, 2011.
He is a retired teacher from the Scarborough area and it is possible that he has tutored children from his home.
Update: It is alleged that:
– the accused befriended a seven-year-old boy
– the accused sexually abused this boy for several years, starting when the boy was seven
Alec Owen, 85, of Toronto, has been charged with:
1) two counts of Indecent Assault on a Male
Police believe there may be more victims.
I am almost certain this is the same man that abused me several times in the 1963 era.
