On Wednesday, December 14, 2011, Germaine Sean Lindo, 38, was arrested by members of the Norwich, Connecticut Police Department.

He was wanted on a Canada-Wide Warrant for manslaughter for the 1993 death of 20-month-old Candace DaSilva.

Lindo is currently incarcerated in the State of Connecticut. Cold Case investigators, in conjunction with the Canadian Federal Department of Justice, obtained a Provisional Warrant, which is expected to be executed on Monday, December 19, 2011 by the United States Marshal Service.

It is anticipated that the Department of Justice will seek Germaine Sean Lindo’s extradition to Canada on the outstanding warrant.
