The Ottawa Police Service Sexual Assault/Child Abuse (SACA) Section is investigating two incidents where a man inappropriately touched women on OC Transpo buses.

On December 8 and December 13, 2011, a man sat beside a teenage girl on an OC Transpo bus, despite there being other empty seats, and inappropriately touched her. In both cases the buses were crossing the City from east to west.

With both incidents, the suspect description was the same: 35-40 years old, slim build, olive complexion, short black hair, wearing a dark jacket; on one occasion he was wearing glasses. He was also carrying a lap top bag.

The Ottawa Police Service advises persons taking the bus to immediately report all incidents of inappropriate touching to the bus driver.
