The Cole Harbour RCMP along with members of the Integrated Major Crime Section responded to a call of a suspicious death at approximately 10:45 p.m., Sunday evening.
Upon arrival at the scene, police found the body of an adult male on the shoulder of Montague Road in Montague Gold Mines. RCMP have closed a section of Montague Road to vehicular and pedestrian traffic until the police complete their scene examination.
The investigation is ongoing and an autopsy will be performed to confirm the cause of death.
