Meductic driver dies in a fatal vehicle crash

District 7 RCMP are investigating a fatal motor vehicle collision which occurred in Meductic, NB.

On April 6, 2012 shortly after 9:30 p.m. District 7 RCMP and the Meductic Fire Department responded to a collision on the Trans Canada Highway in the westbound lane in Meductic where a vehicle collided with a moose.  The driver, a 34-year-old man from Meductic died as a result of his injuries.  The passenger in the car was not injured.

The name of the victim is not being released pending notification of his next of kind.
