Toronto man Philip Grandine charged with first degree murder

On Monday, October 17, 2011, police were called to 12 Marsh Road regarding a woman in medical distress.

The woman was taken to hospital where she was pronounced dead.

She has been identified as Anna Karissa Grandine, 30.

The cause of death was drowning.

On Tuesday, May 1, 2012, Philip Grandine, 25, of Toronto, was arrested.

He is charged with First Degree murder.

He is scheduled to appear in court at 1911 Eglinton Avenue East, on Tuesday, May 2, 2012.
