The Toronto Police Service is alerting the public to two arrests made in a sexual assault investigation.
It is alleged that: – on Saturday, April 21, 2012, a 22-year-old woman attended a club and met two men – after a period of time, the woman and men attended an address on Pelham Park
– the woman was sexually assaulted by the two men and a third man who was already there
Carlos Correia, 26, of Toronto, is charged with: 1. two counts of Sexual Assault Cause Bodily Harm 2. two counts of Gang Sexual Assault 3. Forcible Confinement
Antonio Alves, 31, of Toronto, is charged with: 1. Sexual Assault Cause Bodily Harm 2. Gang Sexual Assault 3. Forcible Confinement
Both men were scheduled to appear in court at Old City Hall on Thursday, May 3, 2012, room 101, 10 a.m.
The investigation is ongoing as a third suspect remains unidentified.
