Police have laid drug charges against a man and woman after seizing prescription drugs and marihuana at a residence in Bridgewater.

On May 2nd, the South Shore Integrated Street Crime Enforcement Unit (SSISCEU) with assistance from Bridgewater Police Service Patrol and General Investigation Section (GIS), executed a search warrant at a residence in Bridgewater. Seized from the residence were a quantity of prescription drugs, marihuana and cash.

Thirty-seven-year-old Troy Joseph Duffney and 27-year-old Amy Rachel Bolivar, both of Bridgewater, were arrested during the search and held in police custody. They are charged with Possession of a Controlled Substance for the Purpose of Trafficking and Possession of a Controlled Substance. They were released on conditions and are scheduled to appear in Bridgewater Court on May 30th, 2012.
