Police search for missing canoeist Spectacle Lake, Nova Scotia

USA: Free $30 Oye! Times readers Get FREE $30 to spend on Amazon, Walmart…Lunenburg County RCMP are searching for a missing man at Spectacle in East Chester, Nova Scotia.
 
At approximately 7:15 p.m., on Saturday May 5th, RCMP received a 911 call of a missing canoeist. Preliminary investigation reveals two men were operating a canoe, when it overturned.
 
One of the men, an 18-year-old male, managed to swim to shore and a 41-year-old male is missing.
 
Members of the RCMP, Chester Fire Department, Mahone Bay Fire Department, Blandford Fire Department and South Shore Ground Search and Rescue are conducting a search of Spectacle Lake and the surrounding area.
 
Additional information will be provided as  the search continues.
