On Tuesday April 24, 2012, police started a sexual assault investigation.
It is alleged that:
– between August 2010 and April 2012, the accused assaulted and forced a woman into prostitution.
Jamal Forde-Beckles, 23, of Markham, is wanted for:
1) Procuring a person to become a prostitute
2) Living on the avails of prostitution
3) Exercise control
4) Assault
5) Forcible Confinement
6) Sexual Assault
7) Threatening Bodily Harm
8) Threatening Death x 3
9) Assault with a weapon
10) Theft Over $5,000
11) Possession of property obtained by crime
12) Extortion
13) Trafficking in Persons
14) Receive benefit from Trafficking in Persons
He is described as black, 6’5″, 275 lbs., brown eyes and black hair, possibly in dreadlocks.
He is associated to the following vehicle:
– a 2008 black Range Rover with an Ontario licence plate BJHX-810
He is considered dangerous.
Police believe there may be more victims.
