Investigators from the Peel Regional Police Homicide Bureau are probing the circumstances surrounding the death of a four month old baby.
On Wednesday, May 9, 2012 Peel Regional Paramedic Services and Mississauga Fire attended an address on Golden Hills Way in Mississauga in response to a 911 call. Upon arrival they found a four month old male, Alexander PLATONOV, deceased.
Police attended the scene and arrested the 40-year old mother of the child. Corinne PLATONOV has been charged with First Degree Murder and is scheduled to appear at the Ontario Court of Justice in Brampton on May 10, 2012.
