Man stabbed in the Jane Street/William Street area in Toronto

On Monday, April 12, 2010, at 1 a.m., police responded to a call for a robbery in the Jane Street/William Street area.

It is reported that:

– a man was walking through a private parking lot when he was approached by two men,

– one of the men had a knife, held it to the victim’s throat and demanded cash and the keys to his vehicle.

– a struggle ensued and the victim was stabbed once in the face and once in the foot,

– the two men fled the scene.

The victim was taken to the hospital with serious but non-life-threatening injuries.

The suspects are described as:

1) black, 18-25, 5’10”, with a skinny build. He was last seen wearing a mask, a black hoodie and dark pants,

2) black, 18-25, 5’3”, with a skinny build. He was last seen wearing a mask, a black hoodie and dark pants,
