The Toronto Police Service Sex Crimes Unit is alerting the public to a sexual assault investigation.

It is reported that:

– on Friday, April 9, 2010, at 6 p.m., a nine-year-old boy was in Smythe Park, in the Jane Street/Alliance Avenue area,

– a man approached the boy,

– the man hugged the boy and attempted to kiss him,

– the man then fled towards Scarlett Road.

The suspect is described as white, 50-60, 5’8”, medium build, grey/black hair with a beard, some teeth missing and one eye partially closed. He was last seen wearing a green jacket, brown pants and a green hat.
