Officers arrived on scene and located a woman with obvious signs of trauma. The woman was taken to hospital with life-threatening injuries.
It is alleged that:
– the woman was assaulted by a man,
– the man fled with a two-and-a-half-year-old boy,
– shortly after, the man surrendered to Peel Regional Service, with the child.
A 35-year-old man, of Brampton, was charged with:
1- Attempted murder,
2- Assault with weapon,
3- Weapons dangerous,
4- Abduction
He is scheduled to appear in court at 2201 Finch Avenue West, on Friday, April 16, 2010, 10 a.m.
