A 27-year-old Sackville man will be charged with possession of drugs for the purpose of trafficking as a result of drugs being seized in his residence on Main Street in Sackville.

During the evening of April 15, 2010, the RCMP District 4 Street Crime Unit seized a quantity of marijuana, cannabis resin and drug paraphernalia. A man was arrested and later released from custody. He is scheduled to appear in Moncton Provincial Court to face related charges in July.

" We strongly believe that drugs destroy lives, homes and communities. That’s why RCMP District 4 South East has identified the dismantling of drug trade activities in our community as one of its policing priorities." states Sgt. Paul Ouellette of the Sackville RCMP.
