The Toronto Police Service is requesting the public’s assistance locating three men wanted in a kidnapping investigation.

It is alleged that:

– during the evening hours of Tuesday, April 12, 2010, a man was abducted from the Jane Street/Wilson Avenue area and driven to a location in Hamilton,

– he was held overnight while the suspects contacted his friends and family, demanding a large sum of money as ransom for his release,

– while being held, the victim was beaten, tortured and burned,

– family and friends of the victim contacted the Toronto Police Service and an investigation began,

The victim was released in the Toronto area without further harm and without the ransom being paid.

On Wednesday, April 14, 2010, two suspects were arrested in this investigation:

Jeffrey Glover, 30, of Toronto, has been charged with:
1) Kidnapping,
2) Aggravated Assault,
3) Forcible Confinement,
4) Assault with Weapon,
5) Threatening Death,
6) Fail to Comply Recognizance.

Olewale Opeyemi, 38, of Brampton, has been charged with:
1) Kidnapping,
2) Aggravated Assault,
3) Forcible Confinement,
4) Assault with Weapon,
5) Threatening Death.

The two men were scheduled to appear in court at 2201 Finch Avenue West, on Thursday, April 15, 2010, room 206-F, 10 a.m.

Further investigation resulted in the identification of three male suspects allegedly responsible for the physical abduction and torture of the victim.

The three men are identified as Dane Dillon, 25, of Toronto; Prince Ashley Lewers, 25, of Hamilton; and Teri Dane Broomfield, 24, of Hamilton. They are wanted for:
1. Kidnapping,
2. Aggravated Assault,
3. Forcible Confinement,
4. Assault with a Weapon,
5. two counts of Threatening Death.

Police are also looking for a 1994 Acura Integra two-door, black, with Ontario licence BHMN 972.
