USA: Free $30 Oye! Times readers Get FREE $30 to spend on Amazon, Walmart…On April 24, 2010, District 10 RCMP members intercepted a passenger vehicle on Highway 2 near Saint-André. The driver and lone occupant of the vehicle, a 22-year-old Moncton area man was found to be in possession of 230,000 contraband cigarettes. The man was arrested and the vehicle and contraband tobacco were seized and forfeited to the Crown.

Charges are pending, and the suspect is scheduled to appear in Edmundston Provincial Court on July 28, 2010.

The cigarettes are believed to have been destined for the Moncton area. The investigation is ongoing.
