A 44-year-old man from Kedgwick appeared in Campbellton Provincial Court this morning to face a charge of aggravated assault in connection with a shooting incident that occurred in Kedgwick early Sunday morning

On April 25, 2010 at approximately 3:00 am, Saint-Quentin RCMP responded to a 911 in a home on Route 260 in Kedgwick where a 39 year-old-man had suffered a gun shot wound to the legs. The victim was taken to hospital with serious but non life threatening injuries. The suspect was arrested without incident in Kedgwick on Sunday morning.

Pierre Bossé was charged with aggravated assault with a weapon. He was remanded and will be returning to court on Thursday, April 29, 2010 at 9:30 a.m. for a bail hearing. Investigators believe more charges could be laid in this matter.
