On Monday, September 17, 2012, police arrested a man in connection with a historical sexual assault investigation.
It is alleged that:
– between 1983 and 1990, the man sexually assaulted a 12-year-old boy who was his student
Kevin Michael Hicks, 53, of Toronto, has been charged with:
– four counts of Sexual Assault
– Buggery
Kevin Hicks is a former national-level figure skater and a former coach with Woodbine Winter Skating Club, Weston Skating Club, Windsor Skating Club and Burlington Skating Club. He coached figure skating in Burlington, Toronto, Mississauga and Windsor during the 1980s.
He is scheduled to appear in court at 2201 Finch Avenue West, on Friday, September 21, 2012, room 206, at 10 a.m.
Police believe there may be more victims.
